Hi, I am Cameron Dickson
Counsellor, Registered with NZAC, PgDipEd (Counselling).
In my 10 years of counselling experience I have worked with adolescents in secondary schools, including as Head of Guidance, and as a private practice counsellor seeing a variety of people. I am currently working part-time in a school environment alongside private practice counselling in Christchurch.
My work is shaped by several counselling modalities including Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Narrative ideas. A particular therapeutic tool I make available to my clients is Sand Tray.
